Story
Companionship rarely announces itself. It is not the dramatic gesture, but the small, repeated choice to stay close — to lean, however slightly, toward someone rather than away. In this frame, two flowers make that choice without ceremony. One stands a fraction taller; the other, a fraction behind. Neither commands the space. Neither disappears into it.
What passes between them is not quite conversation, and not quite silence — something closer to companions bound by an invisible line of reliance, where nothing needs to be said because nothing needs to be proven. This is what lasting closeness looks like when no one is performing it: unhurried, unequal in the smallest ways, and entirely at peace with that.
Two lives, angled toward the same light, asking nothing more of each other than to remain nearby.
